This is the last of my series of photographs of Prague. These pictures were mainly taken at Vyšehrad, a 10th century fortess on a hill, and Petřín Hill in the center of the city.
I arrived in Prague on Saturday 18 August during the middle of the second Pride festival held in the city. It was a fun and colorful affair. André wrote about it for the Prague Post: No rain on their parade.
I enjoyed a brief boat ride on the Vltava River. A heat wave hit Prague the week I visited (a record high of 38 degrees Celsius was recorded in Prague on Monday). People were enjoying activities on the river. Wish

Prague city center is picturesque. I’ve divided my photographs of the city into two groups. Part I shows Old Town and New Town, the popular tourist areas on the east side of the Vlatava River.
