Day-trip around the Cape Peninsula

Two Finnish friends visited Cape Town last week. They were keen to experience scenic routes, so I decided to take them on a day-trip around the Cape Peninsula. Our trip started at Green Point near the CBD, from which we drove all along the coast (past Kamps Bay, Hout Bay and Kommetjie) towards Cape Point Nature Reserve. From there we went to Simon’s Town to see the penguins at Boulder’s Beach.

See a map of the Peninsula that shows our route. It’s the perfect Cape Town sightseeing trip!
